IN MEMORIAM: Robert Eisenstadt 1942 - 2020

On June 5, 2020, Robert Eisenstadt died peacefully at home, in the loving presence of his sister Nancy and his sister's family. He will be dearly missed by all of us who loved and appreciated him. SCROLL (FANCY SCRIPT) ENGRAVED MONOGRAM c. 1900 ANTIQUE POKER CHIPS
(These highly desirable chips are listed on page 291 of  "Antique Gambling Chips,"  and are shown in reproductions of these catalogs: Suydam, 1880 (page 401), and American News, 1905 (page 417).  I don't know of any other catalogs where they appear.........To (a) view pictures of the scroll monogram chips in alphabetical order and (b) see which letters of the alphabet I don't have any chips, even in my personal collection, click here .)
