3 "Casino Royale" chips made by the same company that made the chips for the James Bond movie -- exact same chips, though post-movie production -- the only 3 chips seen in the movie's poker tournament -- $5000, $25,000 and $100,000 chips [This page is from my eBay auction]

DESCRIPTION: The three heavy, casino-quality, Cartamundi inlaid chips sold here are indistinguishable from the Cartamundi ones used in the recent James Bond movie as all were made by the same company, though they were likely made after the film came out. The pictures above are screen shots I took from my DVD showing the chips from that film. ("Casino Royale" is the name of both the movie and the fictional hotel-casino where the climactic poker tournament took place.) Cartamundi Playing Cards Co., Belgium, supplied the chips and playing cards for the movie and the chips auctioned here -- again, same chips (size, weight, inscription, material, etc.) in both cases. (Cartamundi's corporate creed: "'Carta Mundi', Latin for 'cards for the world'. It reflects both a mission and an ambition: to be a world player in the niche market of playing cards. And this is a wide area to cover".)

Only the $100,000 denomination chip was clearly shown in the movie's poker tournament. It has also been the hardest one to buy, until recently. The only other (round) chips, dimly seen in the tournament, are the $5000 and $25,000 ones. The lower denomination chips ($5, $25, $100 and $500) were not in the movie and were solely mass produced for home poker sets well after the movie was finished. That info comes from Cartamundi. (And you would hardly expect to see $5 and $25 chips in such a high stakes poker tournament as shown in the movie.)

CONDITION: excellent.
